Due to the special nature of this property, we kindly ask that you read the following notes carefully. This is a vintage building set in a dramatic clifftop location, where nature conservation laws restrict any alteration to the surrounding natural environment. We would hate for your vacation time to fall short of your expectations, so we make every effort to convey the property as accurately as possible. While the notes below may read as somewhat negative, this reflects the fact that this is a distinctive property—not designed for luxury appeal or to suit every taste. That said, it has been highly praised by guests who are seeking a vintage building and breathtaking, otherworldly views overlooking the dynamic volcanic landscape of this protected nature reserve. Points to Note - The wood deck has no railings. Please take full responsibility for your own safety. - Starlink internet is available, but mobile phone reception is unstable. - The surrounding area is part of a national park, so there are no commercial facilities within walking distance. Your own means of transportation will be necessary. - Wildlife are attracted by food left on the deck, so please clear everything away after meals. - Different rates apply for studio shoots and event use. Please inquire if you wish to use the property for these purposes. As there is no resident caretaker and this is an entirely private space, we do have a set of House Rules. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience, but we would be grateful if you could take a moment to read them. - House Rules - - Use by minors without adult accompaniment is not permitted. - The use of any open flame (campfires, candles, fireworks, etc.) is strictly prohibited anywhere on the premises, including outdoors. - Smoking is strictly prohibited. - Capacity - Only the number of guests specified at the time of booking may enter the property. Staff will verify the number of guests upon entry. If the actual number differs from the number declared in your reservation, this will constitute a breach of contract, resulting in immediate termination of the booking and your prompt departure from the property. - Parking - There is a step of approximately 15 cm at the parking entrance, so parking may be difficult depending on your vehicle (e.g., sports cars or other vehicles with extremely low ground clearance).

The fireplace is available during the winter season only (December–February). Please also note that this option must be requested at least two days in advance.

Due to the architectural design, railings and safety barriers have not been installed in certain areas, so adult supervision and care are required. - If you are traveling with children, please be sure to let us know, as we will send you a list of safety notes. Because the deck and stairs have no railings, bookings can only be accepted if you are able to manage your own safety. - When children are playing anywhere on the grounds, they must be accompanied by a guardian at all times.
